Who I am  ​

I’m Thibault Schouters, a passionate sound engineer and musician. With a background as both a drummer and guitarist, I grew up surrounded by music — an environment that shaped my approach to sound, blending artistic sensitivity with technical precision. After graduating from the Institut des Arts de Diffusion (IAD) in 2019, I joined Koko Records in Belgium, where I work as a recording and mixing engineer. Over the years, I’ve built solid experience across every stage of production, from assisting to leading projects as head engineer. Alongside my studio work, I also mix live shows as a Front of House engineer, working across a wide range of musical projects, from intimate venues to large stages. As a musician involved in various bands over the years, I know how it feels to be on the other side of the stage or the studio glass. This experience shapes the way I work today — with attention to dynamics, emotion, and the unique energy of each performance. Whether in the studio or on stage, my goal is simple: to serve the artist’s vision with a mix of precision, creativity, and adaptability.
